Instructions

    • 1

      Clean your blank surface.

    • 2

Apply a solid, single color coat of paint in the shape(s) you want to your blank surface, and let it dry. This is your shadow.

    • 3

Using a different color, paint a duplicate shape on top of your previous coat. But this time, offset it a little bit in one direction. Your graffiti is already starting to have perspective.

    • 4

Add small strokes of a darker hue on the second shape. This gives it even more definition.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pay attention to your perspective.

  • Make sure all your shadows are consistent with the same light source.

  • Always use spray paint in a well-ventilated area.
