Pin the edges and one end of the ribbons, leaving one end open.

3
Sew along the pins, using a straight stitch. Leave one end open, forming a ribbon tube. Remove the pins.

4
Use the tweezers to reach inside of the ribbon tube and grasp the sewn end. Pull the ribbon right side out through the opening. Use a dowel rod or pencil end to poke the ribbon out all of the way if necessary.

5
Slip the ribbon slipcover over the headband, gathering or bunching it up on the headband until all of the ribbon tube is on the headband.
-
6
Use a dab of glue from the glue gun to secure the end of the bunched up ribbon tube to the headband.

7
Fold the open raw edges of the ribbon inside and sew closed with a few stitches with a needle and thread or glue with the glue gun.

Bows can be made and affixed to the ribbon slipcovers by using the glue gun and glue sticks. Add self adhesive Velcro inside the ribbon tube to use as a changeable ribbon slipcover.
Use caution when operating glue guns as some brands reach high temperatures and can lead to burns and injuries.
