How to Reset a Radio Shack Radio Controlled Clock

The Radio Shack radio-controlled clock is a digital clock that uses a radio signal to keep time. Some manufacturers call these clocks "atomic clocks." If your radio display is frozen, you'll need to reset it to restore service.

Things You'll Need

• Paper clip

Instructions

1. Straighten the paper clip. You'll need it to access the reset button on the clock.

2. Remove the clock from the wall. Turn it over to find the small hole labeled "Reset."

3. Insert the straightened paper clip into the hole. Push it as far in as it will go to reset the clock.

Tips & Warnings

• It will take about two minutes for the correct time to display after resetting the radio. The radio will have to search for and acquire a signal.

• You can also reset the radio by removing and reinserting the battery. Pull off the battery cover on the rear of the clock to access the battery.
