How to Make My Own Song List Online
Song lists allow you to combine your favorite music without the inconvenience of juggling CDs. You can collect the songs you want to listen to, press play, turn up the volume and forget about which CD is next. One way to do this is by visiting a website called Playlist (www.playlist.com). Playlist offers an assortment of songs that you can preview and select to add to a list.

Go to www.playlist.com on your computer. Look for the link at the top of the page that reads "Join Now." Click it to go to the next page and fill out the form. When you are finished, press the orange "Join Now" button. Wait for the next page to load, then click "Create a Playlist" near the top of the page.

Give your playlist a title, a description if you desire, and click "Create Playlist." Find the search box that reads "Search for a Song or Artist." Type in the name of a band or singer, or the name of a song. Click the magnifying glass.

Review the list of songs. You can either preview them by clicking the sideways triangle, or add them without previewing by clicking the plus sign. If you choose to preview them, the triangle turns into two lines to stop it whenever you want. To search for more artists or songs, go back to the search bar.

Click "My Playlists" when you are finished adding songs. Find the name of the playlist you created and click it. Press the large triangle or "play" button to begin listening to your playlist. It will automatically play all of the songs on your list until you tell it to stop.

If you do not like the order of your list, click the tab that reads "Rearrange Songs" and on the next page you can move them up or down on the list. Click "Save Changes," then click the "View Songs" tab to return to your list.

Click the link that reads "Pop-Out Player" if you do not want to stay on the main website. This will open your playlist in a new window; you can change the size of the window or drag it to a different area of the screen.

Tips & Warnings
You can share your playlist with your friends by posting the link on a social networking site if you are a member of one. Go to "My Playlists," click "Share" and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can also embed the song list on various sites that allow HTML (hyper text markup language), the language used to create websites. Open your list, click "Embed" and follow the instructions on the next few pages.
If you delete songs from your playlist, you cannot undo it after you have saved your changes. You must search for the artist or song again, then add it.
