How to Improve Overall Strength Overnight Through Self Hypnosis

People are always looking for ways to increase their strength with as little physical effort as possible. One way to increase muscle mass and strength is through the use of self hypnosis in an effort to condition your mind as a way to condition your muscles.

  1. Increasing Strength Through Self Hypnosis

      Relax. The key to self hypnosis is the ability to relax your mind and body enough that it is able to fall into a hypnotic trance or state. The easiest way to do this is through controlled breathing, relaxing visualizations, or repeating a relaxing mantra. Ideally, you should relax your mind and body for about 15-20 minutes prior to attempting self hypnosis.

      Begin self hypnosis. One way to achieve self hypnosis is through concentrating on affirmations and visualizing what you want. This is a light version of self hypnosis in that you are in a light hypnotic state and in control. For immediate strength training, you can visualize your muscles getting larger, exercising the individual muscle areas and repeating to yourself that you are getting stronger and stronger. You should notice your confidence will have increased and experience a feeling of empowerment. You also may feel stronger.

      Try deep trance hypnosis. The way to have the best immediate results is to attempt to fall into a deep hypnotic state. This is the state used in hypnotic stage shows and hypnotherapy. In this state, you are not in control or aware of your surroundings and instead are focused on the voice of the person giving directions. In this case, the directions will be provided by a tape recorded script that you prepared beforehand.

      Tape a hypnosis script. There are many hypnotic induction scripts available on the Internet. This script will bring you into the hypnotic state. A second script will focus on increasing your muscle strength. These scripts are more difficult to find, but they are out there or you can create your own. You should focus on you becoming stronger, blocking the pain mechanism, increasing adrenaline production, and visualizing larger muscles. A final script will include the opposite technique of induction and will bring you out of the hypnotic state. You should create the tape or CD in such a way that all the scripts lead naturally into each other.

      Reinforce every few days. A hypnotic command or suggestion needs to be reinforced on a regular basis in order to keep working. If you notice a substantial strength increase, you can change the script to make your muscles even larger. You should repeat the script every few days to make sure the commands and suggestions continue to be effective and after several weeks the need for reinforcement should diminish.
