Yahoo! Messenger is an IM (instant messaging) program that allows you to communicate with family and friends all over the world using instant chats, video webcams and voice chats. Before, you were only limited to chatting with other Yahoo! users, but the option is now available for Windows Live Messenger users too. With Yahoo! Messengers cross-platform capabilities, you can communicate with friends who are not Yahoo! Messenger users. Just import them to your friends list and start chatting.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

  3. Step 3

Place a check on "Hotmail/Windows Live/MSN" and type in your Windows Live screen name and password. Click "Continue." The import wizard locates all the contacts on your Windows Live ID account.
