How to Export iPhone Contacts to Gmail

With the variety of technologies and devices we use to stay in touch these days, it can be frustrating trying to remember exactly where you may have saved your personal contacts. If you use a Google Gmail account and an iPhone, it is easy to keep a common list of contacts. You can export your contacts from your iPhone and import them into Gmail.

Things You'll Need

• iTunes
• iPhone USB cord

Instructions

1. Open your iTunes software on your personal computer.

2. Power on your iPhone and plug it into the computer using the USB cord that comes standard with all iPhones when purchased.

3. Click on the iPhone icon in the pane on the left of the main iTunes window.

4. Click on the "Info" tab and select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu that appears.

5. Enter your Gmail user ID and password when prompted, and the software will export your iPhone contact into your Gmail account.
