Vaginal infections are common amongst women, but there's actually a few easy ways to help prevent vaginal infections, including vaginitis, in your future. Below are the more effective methods in helping to prevent vaginal infections. I suggest following all of them for the best protection against vaginal infections.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start eating more yogurt. Eating one serving of yogurt a day has been proven to drastically reduce vaginitis in women. If you've had vaginitis at least, this is one of the easiest ways to help prevent it from returning. It's recommended that you eat a natural based yogurt, such as a plain organic yogurt. It also should be yogurt that contains the active bacteria known as Lactobacillus Acidophilus.

  2. Step 2

Avoid douching too frequently. Douching can actually cause infections when used too frequently. When used frequently douches will actually kill the healthy bacteria, including protective bacteria that can protect against harmful germs.

  3. Step 3

Be more cautious when using a douche. When using a douche, it's not recommended that you use commercially prepared douche solutions. Women that use plain water, or apple cider vinegar and water solutions, are less likely to suffer from vaginal infections.
