Bursitis is the inflammation of one or multiple bursaes. Bursitis is more common among those that are active, especially athletes. This treatment helps to reduce the inflammation of Brusitis and reduce the pain that Brusitis causes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Cup of Cold Water
  • 3 Drops of Cypress Oil
  • 2 Drops of Chamomile Oil
  • 2 Drops of Hyssop Oil
  • 1 Drop of Juniper Oil
  1. Step 1

Pour the cold water into a medium to large mixing bowl. Add in the cypress oil, chamomile oil, hyssop oil and juniper oil. As you add all of the oils, gently stir the mixture together with a wooden spoon or spatula.

  2. Step 2

Soak a small towel or cloth in the mixture, allowing it to soak up the liquid. Gently wring out the excess liquid, then apply the towel or cloth over the area affected by the Bursitis. If you have multiple areas affected with Bursitis, you can use multiple cloths or towels, or use the one towel on the other areas consecutively. I suggest applying an ice pack over the towel, this helps to reduce the inflammation more.

  3. Step 3

Use the treatment 2-3 times per day, or as needed. The mixture is gentle enough to be used as frequently as needed.
