How to make a Weight Watchers approved Barbeque Bacon Turkey Loaf

Are you on a diet? Are you on Weight Watchers? This recipe is a great way to make a meal for a few days. Its also only 5 Points on Weight Watchers. This is also a great recipe for anybody on a stage 5 diet after gastric bypass surgery.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Lbs. Ground Turkey
  • 12 Slices Turkey Bacon
  • 1 Cup Quick Cooking Oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 Cup Barbeque Sauce
  • 2 Large Egg Whites
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  1. Step 1

    Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix it very well to incorporate all the ingredients together. For best results, use your hands. If you don't like how it feels on your hands, wear some disposable gloves.

  2. Step 2

    In an ungreased 9" by 5" loaf pan, press the mixture down to the bottom of the pan.

  3. Step 3

    If desired, pour additional barbeque sauce on the top of the loaf, or use ketchup.

  4. Step 4

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the loaf for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do not under cook for fear of salmonella. Do not over cook or you will dry out the loaf.

  5. Step 5

    Allow to stand for 10 minutes. Makes 10 servings for 5 points each.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a chopped onion for added flavor
  • Add your favorite spices.
  • Do not undercook or overcook.
