How to Install Logitech Quickcam 8.4.8

As you buy and install new hardware such as a webcam on your computer, you may have trouble keeping track of the installation CDs you receive with these products. Your Logitech QuickCam comes with such a CD that includes the software you'll need to use the webcam. Logitech QuikCam 8.4.8 is one version of this software. If you have lost your installation CD, you can download and install this version directly from the Logitech website.

Instructions

1. Browse to the product support page for your QuickCam on the Logitech website.

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "QuickCam v8.4.8" link. Click the “Save File” button in the dialog box that appears and save the file to your desktop. Wait for the file to download. This may take a few minutes, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

3. Double-click on the downloaded file to launch the installer. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. Your Logitech Webcam is now ready for use.
