How to Make a Memory Bookmark
One way to make a great keepsake from an event or trip is to make a memory bookmark. Choose items from an event or vacation that you would like to place on your memory bookmark. Pick things that will bring back memories. These make great homemade stocking stuffers or thank-you gifts.
Things You'll Need
- Self-laminating paper
- Items from the event you'd like to remember (dried flowers, plane tickets, photographs, brochures)
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- Yarn
Instructions

1
Cut out the memory items to make a small collage, and place them on the self-laminating paper. The paper is used by opening it up, removing the film that is covering an adhesive side and then sticking the two sheets together.
-
2
Stick the self-adhesive paper together and cut out your bookmark. Leave plenty of room around the cut-out items so the paper sticks together. If you don't do this, the items will fall out. Also, leave at least an inch at the top.

3
Punch a hole in the top of the bookmark and use some yarn (or ribbon) to add a "tail."

Tips & Warnings
Self-adhesive paper is clear, so you will see the front and the back. If you don't want to put decorations on both sides, write a memory or personal message on the back instead.
If you are using leaves or plants, first press them between two pieces of waxed paper and place under heavy books until dried.
