Stuck at home with no food? Try out this recipe using leftovers and basic ingredients in your cupboard. This recipe is great for college kids living away from home, for holidays served as an appetizer, and pretty much when ever you want something with a kick.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/4 Cup Leftover Sausage
  • 1/4 Cup Leftover Chicken
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Favorite Spices
  • Oil for Frying
  1. Step 1

Mince both the sausage and chicken into tiny pieces. Toss the chicken and sausage into a bowl.

  2. Step 2

Mince the jalapeno and crush the garlic. Toss the jalapeno and garlic into the same bowl as the chicken and sausage. Stir the ingredients a little bit.

  3. Step 3

In the bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Make sure that all the ingredients incorporate together so that each bite has both chicken and sausage.

  4. Step 4

Take a small handful and form into desired shape. I prefer little patties but you can make little balls or whatever you like. Once formed, fry in a pan until golden brown.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add whatever spices you like.
  • Feel free to experiment.
  • Add an onion.
  • Use different meats.
