It's easy to make a natural moisturizing body scrub that uses ground almonds and ground oatmeal to gently scrub away dead skin and help to encourage healthier skin.   • 1/4 cup ground almonds
  • 1 cup ground oatmeal
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 teaspoon jojoba oil (optional)

Instructions

      Mash the avocado in a small mixing bowl. If you prefer you can use a blender or food processor to puree it.

      Combine the ground almonds and oatmeal with the avocado.

      Add the jojoba oil and stir together once more.

      Start a warm bath, and gently massage the mixture into the desired areas. Use a towel if you have a dry complexion, as this will help to remove dead skin. Try to focus especially on dry areas of skin, such as the elbows, knees and feet.

      Wait 15 to 20 minutes, then gently rinse off with the bathwater.
