How to Make Allienne's Special Holiday Punch

A delicious holiday punch can be made in several easy steps. Let the vanilla ice cream soften and then put it in a blender to whip it up. Pour the ice cream into the punch bowl. Add 1 quart of half and half to the ice cream and stir. Pour Sprite into the punch bowl filling it fairly full, but saving room for the rum. Add 2 cups of rum, more or less according to taste, and stir it in. Add the package of Cool Whip and stir. Float the holiday candles on top of the punch and light them. Serve the punch in individual glass punch cups or clear plastic cups with holiday napkins. Your guests will clamor for more! The taste is fantastic!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large punch bowl and ladle
  • 2 Half gallon packages of vanilla ice cream
  • 2 Large bottles of Sprite
  • 1 Quart of half and half
  • 1 Package of Cool Whip
  • 2 Cups of rum
  • 5 or 6 Small red floating candles star shaped
  • Punch cups or plastic cups.
  • Holiday napkins
  1. Step 1

    Soften vanilla ice cream and whip it in a blender and put it in a punch bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Add Sprite, half and half, Cool Whip, and rum to the punch bowl and stir.

  3. Step 3

    Place floating candles on the punch and light them, just before serving in punch cups or clear plastic cups with holiday napkins.
