Step 1
Make your own.
If you have a nice printer, then this is an economical solution. There are inexpensive programs out there to help design the business card. You would need to purchase special business card paper from an office supply store. Just make sure you don't try this if your printer does not print well. -
Step 2
Find a discount printer online.
There are many places on line that you can order business cards from. Some of these places have some really good prices. I have even seen a place offer them for free as long as you pay shipping and handling. Just search around a little and you will find a nice card, for a nice price. -
Step 3
Call your local printer.
Ask the local printers if they are offering any specials. In this economy, a lot of businesses are desperate for new customers. They may be willing to give you a nice discount if they think it will help make a loyal customer. You may find your cheap business card there. -
Step 4
Compare Prices.
To find a cheap business card, always compare prices. Compare the quote you got from the local printer, versus the online printers that you found and compare it to how much it would cost to make them yourself. After you figure out the costs of each, decide which way would best fit within your budget.
