How to Choose Background Music for Car Theme Party (kids or Adults)

You have finally decided on a theme party - cars no less - and you want your guests to have a revvvvvvving good time.

Thought should be given to the background music as it's the easiest way to add instant ambiance to the party. I spent ages trawling the internet to come up with this song play list and thought i would save you time by posting it here.


I've got quite a few ideas (tried and tested!) up my sleeve for children's car theme parties, so be sure to check out my other articles!

Things You'll Need:

• iTunes account (yours or enlist a friend's)
• A rockin' CD collection
• Your mate's rockin' CD collection :)

1. I have chosen 57 songs for my playlist - just a little over 3 hours of driving / car theme music! This includes the Pixar Cars (Original Soundtrack) purchased from iTunes - if you don't want to include the instrumental music by Randy Newman, deduct some time and replace with additional Beach Boys tracks - they have quite a few songs which I have left out...
   
   The great thing about iTunes is the chance to hear a snippet of the song - if it's not to your taste, leave it out! Also, you might be surprised how many of these tracks you may have lurking in your own CD collection already - put your hand up if you're an 80s kid! 70s kid! :)
