Step 1
Print out pictures from websites that offer free coloring pages. You can also use hand drawn pictures or old greeting card pictures. Keep the designs simple and in line with the type of craft project you plan on creating.

Glue the picture onto a piece of heavy cardboard. Allow the glue to dry.

Cut the cardboard with the picture on it into a square or rectangular shape slightly larger than your picture.

Step 4
Apply glue along the outline of the picture. Place thick string or twine along the line of glue. You can make a single string outline, double string outline or keep going to fill in the entire picture. Any way you choose to line your picture is fine and completely up to you.

Step 5
Allow the glue under the string to dry completely before use. Pour craft paint onto a disposable plate, press your stamp into the paint, then stamp your surface.
