Baby back ribs cooked in a slower cooker are very tender and peel right off the bones. The ribs are easy to prepare and delicious – preparation time is only five minutes. Try these ribs with baked beans, potato salad and garlic bread. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 2 slabs baby back ribs
  • Barbecue sauce
  • 1 large onion sliced thin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste

Instructions

      Thaw the ribs, rinse them and pat them dry. Turn oven on to broil. Place ribs on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic, if desired. Cut ribs into serving size portions. Broil ribs until brown about 10 to 15 minutes.

      Line the slow cooker with a slow cooker bag for easy cleanup. Slice onions in thin long slices. Make a bed of onions in the bottom of slow cooker. Place browned ribs on top of sliced onions. Pour your favorite barbecue sauce over ribs.

      Cook on high for six to eight hours or medium eight to 10 hours.
