Things You'll Need:
- Internet
- Ehow
-
Step 1
Format your title with the correct "how to" format. Much like this one is stated.
-
Step 2
Provide instructional information that the reader can follow. This must be detailed step-by-step instructions. Make them clear with the correct grammar and punctuation.
-
Step 3
Make the articles free from obscene or offensive material. This includes words, photos, and video. They must not contain anything that may be dangerous or illegal.
-
Step 4
Stay clear of writing articles that are an advertisement and may be considered SPAM. They should never endorse a third party.
-
Step 5
Avoid plagiarism at all cost! At no time will you be allowed to copy direct information from another source. Paraphrasing is also NOT allowed if it is written by another author. You must use the same byline if you are copying one of your original articles from another site onto Ehow.
-
Step 6
Read the entire submission guidelines for Ehow located on the Ehow's terms of use. I have placed a link in the resources section.

on 11/16/2009 Great tips, but I've noticed ehow will erase article that have apparently nothing wrong with them. They will also leave out reasons for why they were erased....

on 11/15/2009 Great reminder with simple directions on How to Write an Ehow Article that Doesn't
Get Deleted. Another great reason to keep all of your articles as saved word documents in files so that you can go back and revise them... Because, they are GONE when eHow deletes them. Thanks for posting! 5*
