Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic food storage container
  1. Step 1

Wait until late fall when seed pods have dried. Dry pods will turn brown and split open.

  2. Step 2

Pick seed pods from rose of Sharon branches. Place a small number of seed pods in a plastic food storage container. Shake the container vigorously to dislodge seeds from pods.

  3. Step 3

Remove the seeds and pods from the container. Discard the pods and blow on the seeds to clean them.
