Those who suffer with sleep apnea can breathe and sleep easier with the use of a CPAP machine. The machine, which must be prescribed by a physician, forces air into an individual's nose and/or mouth to ensure he is receiving sufficient oxygen during sleep. While some settings on the machine come pre-adjusted by a physician, others can be changed with the click of a few buttons. Most CPAP machines are made by Resmed or Remstar, and the settings on both can be adjusted easily.
