    • 1

Place the base of the vacuum cleaner on a flat surface and push the power cord down and away from the handle insert. Pushing the power cord away keeps it from being damaged when attaching the body of the vacuum cleaner.

    • 2

Slide the body of the vacuum cleaner onto the base and press down firmly.

    • 3

Insert the long screw into the front of the vacuum body to secure it to the base. Make sure that it is tight to keep the body from falling off of the base.

    • 4

Put the bottom tab of the front panel into the bottom slot on the body of the vacuum and press on the upper part of the panel until it clicks in place.

    • 5

Slide the handle over the top bar of the vacuum cleaner body. Press down firmly to ensure the handle is secure.

    • 6

Place the tab on the back of the tool caddy in the slot on the handle located above the two screw holes and secure the caddy with two screws.

    • 7

Line the lower cord wrap piece with the screw hole on the bottom left part of the vacuum body. Insert and tighten a screw to secure the wrap piece.

    • 8

Attach the hose clip on the opposite side of the vacuum body with a screw.

    • 9

Grip the curved end of the hose and slide it onto the hole on the back of the vacuum body.

    • 10

Position the hose to the left of the handle and wrap it onto the hose hook. The hose should rest on the outside right of the machine when it is attached to the handle correctly.

    • 11

Push the release button on the bottom right of the vacuum base and push the open end of the hose onto the nozzle located on the base. Twist the end of the hose to lock it in place.

    • 12

Push the excess hose into the hose clips on the right side of the vacuum body.
