How to Naturally Clear the Whites of the Eyes

Any sort of redness or irritation of the eye should be taken seriously at all times. Check your reading habits--reading in dim light, or in a posture that strains your eyes can cause your eyesight to suffer. Redness in the whites of the eye is usually indicative of dry eyes or "meibomitis." If redness occurs on a regular basis make an appointment with an eye doctor. However, occasional reddening of the whites of the eye can be cleared by natural procedures, such as sleeping and limiting exposure to potential irritation sources--computer screens and contact lenses, for example.
