1
Make a complete circle to begin the head. It should be big enough for the features of the face to fit inside.
-
2
Furnish the face with a curved horizontal line that goes a quarter of the way down the face. This is the eye line or where the eyes of Jiminy will set. The eyes can be positioned anywhere on the line depending on which direction you want Jiminy to face.
-
-
3
Provide depth to the drawing by adding a vertical line that is at an angle to the eye line. This gives a three-dimensional look to the drawing. Placing the facial features halfway on either side of the lines provides a balance to Jiminy's face.
-
4
Add Jiminy's collar, which should be raised up to hit the middle of the head and dropped to his neck.
-
5
Create Jiminy's right arm from his collar, adding fingers and a circle from his right hand to make his top hat. Jiminy's left arm will not be visible in this drawing.
-
6
Take your pencil and go back and finish his eyes, nose and mouth, using the guidelines that were established in his face. Finish his top hat and the rest of his coat at this time.
-
7
Add Jiminy's umbrella by placing it behind him with only the bottom sticking out from his right side. Complete his socks and shoes.
