Headlight lenses are clear plastic coverings that protect the headlight bulb. With wear and tear, headlight lenses become scratched and make the lenses look dull and hazy. This makes the headlights shine less brightly at night and looks unappealing to the eye. With a professional headlight cleaner, you can restore clarity and shine to your scratched headlight lenses in under 5 minutes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Standard drill with buffer attachment
  • Headlight lens cleaner
  • Microfiber towel
  1. Step 1

Put the buffer attachment onto your standard drill. Squeeze a half dollar size drop of headlight lens cleaner onto the buffing pad. Any brand of headlight lens cleaner will work, such as Meguiar's.

  2. Step 2

Place the buffing pad on your headlight lens and turn on the drill. Buff the cleaner into the lens for about one minute. Make sure to buff all areas of the lens.

  3. Step 3

Wipe off the cleaner with a microfiber towel just like you would wipe wax off car paint. Your headlight lens should be free of scratches and any discoloring.
