Trace the outline of the police badge pattern with a pencil on yellow construction paper.

    • 4

Cut out the police badge from the yellow construction paper.

    • 5

Using the black marker, in the very center of the badge, draw an emblem of your own creation.

    • 6

Write "Police" along the top of the badge, arcing over the emblem.

    • 7

Write your town name and state abbreviation or simple write your last name along the bottom of the badge, arcing below the emblem.

    • 8

Cut a small piece of tape and loop it so that the sticky part is on the outside. Place the loop on the back of the badge and stick it to your shirt, just above your heart. Or use a safety pin to secure the badge to the shirt.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use crayons or colored markers to customize your badge to your liking.

  • For a sturdier badge, trace and cut the outline on cardboard or foam board and glue the yellow paper badge to it.
