How to Copy a Data Entry Test Spreed Sheet

Being a Human Resources professional, you administer data entry tests to a vast number of potential employees. Often, you must remove data from the spreadsheet to administer the next test. This can be time-consuming. And saving the template as a new file every time someone else takes the test will overrun your memory. After all, you do not need to save their test data; you only need their scores.

One way to eliminate this is to make another copy of the Excel the data entry test spreadsheet.

Instructions

      Open the "Excel" from your Start Menu. Allow it to completely load.

      Select "Open" in your File Menu. Locate the correct Data Entry Test spreadsheet you want to copy. Right-click on the file name. Scroll down and select "Copy." Now select "Cancel," since you are not opening this file.

      Open a new spreadsheet on Excel. You can do this by clicking the new document icon located at the far left of the toolbar.

      Click the left mouse button with the cursor inside the spreadsheet. Now right-click the same location, scroll down and select "Paste."

      Select "Save As" in your File Menu and give this new copy a name. Select "Save."
