How to Use Eye Drops in Pregnancy
During pregnancy, many women experience dry eyes. According to the organization Prevent Blindness in America, using lubricating eye drops during pregnancy is a safe and easy way to remedy uncomfortably dry eyes. Consult your physician prior to using any type of over the counter or prescription eye drops during pregnancy. Some eye drops, such as Zylet and some glaucoma medications, are untested or unsafe during pregnancy. Nonprescription lubricating drops are usually fine to use.
