How to Remove Sulfur Stains From a Commode
Minerals from hard water can stain the inside of your commode. These stains are ugly and challenging to remove, if proper techniques are not adhered to. There are some items that can make your cleaning efforts less harsh and more successful. Use some common cleaning agents and a bit of elbow grease to effectively remove sulfur stains from a commode. Things You'll Need
- Nylon bristled brush
- Calcium and lime remover cleaning agent
- Pumice stone

Drain the water from the commode.

Scrub the sulfur stains with a pumice stone using small circular motions.

Apply a calcium and lime remover cleaning agent onto the surface of the sulfur stains. Allow to sit for ten minutes.

Use a toilet brush or other nylon bristled brush to scrub the stains away.

Flush the commode and refill the bowl with fresh water.
