Things You'll Need:
- Seashells
- Stiff brush
- Framed mirror
- Glass cleaner
- Paper towels
- Hot glue gun

Step 1
Collect seashells from the beach or purchase them from a store. Scrub them with a stiff brush under running water to remove sand, dust, debris or organic matter. Allow them to dry thoroughly.

Find a mirror with a thin, flat frame. The frame can be made of plastic or wood. This will make the mirror easy to hang.

Lay the mirror on a table or work surface. Spray the mirror with a glass cleaner and wipe it clean and dry with paper towels.

Lay your shells on the mirror and arrange them until you are satisfied with the look. Place the shells tightly together to cover the frame and edges of the mirror, or you can space them out slightly, depending upon your preference.

Use a hot glue gun to place a thick dab of glue onto one shell. If you are gluing the shell with the rounded side facing out, apply the glue to the rim of the shell. If you are gluing the rounded side to the mirror, find the flattest part to place the glue.

Hold the shell in place against the mirror for a minute until the glue begins to set. Be careful not to move it or bump it as you place other shells, as you can dislodge it.

Continue gluing the shells, one at a time, in place until they are all affixed to the mirror.

Allow the glue to set for an hour or two. Hold up the mirror to see if any shells move or look loose. If there are any loose shells, add a few more dabs of glue behind them and hold them in place. Give the glue another hour or two to set.

Hang your mirror and enjoy your beautiful new decoration.
