Instructions

1. Visit the official Nike Biz website and fill out the sponsorship questionnaire. Be sure to browse over the requirements on the page before attending to the questionnaire, as Nike has very specific eligibility requirements. For example, the company will not provide charitable support to religious organizations, individuals seeking educational or personal funding, and political campaigns.

2. Follow the questionnaire link for your region. If you live in the U.S., choose the best option that suits your needs. If you are seeking product donations, select yes. You will continue with the questionnaire. If you are seeking financial sponsorship, you will be prompted to print out an application that must be mailed directly to the corporate office.

3. Provide information about your nonprofit organization status, educational or government facility. You will be asked to send in documentation about your staff, your latest 990 form and proof of your IRS determination as a qualified charity. You will also be asked about your intent and fair social practices within the organization.

4. Choose yes if you agree to the terms of certification. You will then be taken to the request for product donation application. In order to access the application, you will need to log in to the website and provide your invitation code. Once you are logged in, you can fill out the application or request further information about the program.

5. Return the application to the Nike corporate office with all required paperwork, and wait for a response. This could take up to 90 days.
