How to Use Precor Equipment

Precor cardiovascular equipment is some of the most popular machinery in health clubs as well as for home use. The Experience Series is their equipment available in health clubs, which won an industrial design award from Business Week magazine. Their premium home equipment, the 9.3X Series, operates similar to the club equipment.

How to use Precor Equipment

1. Press the quick start button and start walking on the treadmill. On the cycling, climbing or elliptical equipment, start the appropriate activity for each and then hit quick start; they will begin automatically. The console has program categories for different ranges of activity levels.

2. Pick a program category depending on your goal. Hit the category button until the program you wants comes up and then hit enter.

3. The machine's information bar will flash the time. Use the number key pad and input your desired time followed by the enter key.

4. On most models the information bar will flash weight. If it does not flash weight, hit the options button which will prompt it to flash. Enter your estimated weight on the keypad and then press enter.

5. The information bar will then flash age. Enter your age for the heart rate zone configuration and then press enter.

6. After your exercise session, the machine will show results.
