Chakra is an Indian concept from Hinduism that revolves around the idea that all people have vortexes of energy flowing through their bodies from specific points. Chakra stones are colored stones that channel that energy through your body. Chakra stones are believed to have healing powers that can treat various ailments of the body. The colors of the chakra stones correspond to the kinds of energy the stones are said to emit.

Lie down in a quiet place, and take long slow breaths. Visualize that you are pushing out bad energy when you exhale, and absorbing good energy when you inhale.

Place the purple chakra stone (amethyst) at the crown of your head.

Place the indigo chakra stone (sodalite) your forehead between your brows.

Place the blue chakra stone (angelite) on your throat at your Adam's apple.

Place the green chakra stone (aventurine) halfway between your nipples on your chest.

Place the yellow chakra stone (tiger eye) at your solar plexus, or the bottom of your rib cage.

Place the orange chakra stone (carnelian) just below your belly button.

Place the red chakra stone (bloodstone) in your groin area, in line with the bottom of your spine.

Tips & Warnings
If you are not in pain and you just want to use the chakra stones to meditate, place them on your body from the bottom up, starting with the red stone at your groin and ending with the purple stone at your crown.
If placing the stones on your body once you are lying down is too difficult, you can lay the stones out and then lie down on top of them.
There is no scientific evidence that chakra stones will cure your ailments.
