Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. It's known for being a day full of great deals at almost every retail store. But Black Friday has also proven to be a bit dangerous in recent years. So while you are trying to get those great deals on electronics and all the new toys make sure you are also staying safe. Follow these steps to have a successful and safe Black Friday shopping experience.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tennis Shoes
  • Good nights rest
  • Common Courtesy
  1. Step 1

The first step to staying safe on Black Friday is getting a good nights sleep the night before. Make sure you go to bed early so you are well rested and alert when you head out bright and early in search of those great Black Friday deals.

  2. Step 2

Dress in comfortable clothing on Black Friday. Wear a good pair of tennis shoes or walking shoes. Black Friday is not the day to wear high heels. You don't want to trip and fall so make sure you wear shoes that are comfortable and broken in.

  3. Step 3

There are usually big crowds in almost every store on Black Friday. Don't push or shove in the crowd. No deal is worth getting trampled over. Use common courtesy and be respectful of those around you. If you are in the crowd and feel like it is getting out of control try to move to the side and remove yourself from the group.

  4. Step 4

If someone wants to fight with you over an item just let it go. Don't be rude to others and don't pick any fights. Again no deal is worth fighting over. Black Friday should be a fun experience not a difficult one. Stay calm and collected and just enjoy your day.

  5. Step 5

Let people know where you are going on Black Friday. Tell a friend what stores you plan on going too. Don't carry large amounts of cash with you, rather carry credit or debit cards.
