How to Make Deep Fried Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Chocolate chip cookie dough isn't only used for making cookies and ice cream, it can also be served fried. - Dough:
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pasteurized eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- Batter:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup club soda
- Vegetable oil

First pour the flour, baking soda and salt into a bowl and sift it together until it is mixed well. In another bowl, beat butter by hand until it is lighter in color. Then slowly add in the sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla one at a time and beat together. Once the wet mixture is mixed well, add it to the dry mixture and beat them together.

Roll pieces of dough into balls and place them on a cookie sheet. When they are all made up, place them in the freezer to harden for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the batter. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar and baking powder. Add the egg and half of the club soda and whisk it well to combine. Keep adding more club soda until the batter resembles heavy cream.

Heat the oil in a deep fryer over 350 F. Place the balls in the hot oil and fry a few at a time until they turn golden brown on the outside. It should take about 3 minutes for them to cook.
When they are done, pull them out and place them on a paper towel to drain the oils, and serve warm. Enjoy!
