Get Free Stuff During Your Birthday Month

A lot of restaurants will offer you a little free dessert on your birthday. But you can only eat dinner once that day! Here are a bunch of FREEBIES from stores that you can enjoy all month long.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

AVEDA. For several years Aveda has given a free shampoo, conditioner, or bath salts. It is personally scented and you get to choose which fragrance you'd like. Normally the shampoo is $11, the conditioner or bath salts are $20. So this is a really great giveaway!

  2. Step 2

ORIGINS. $10 off a $25 purchase. Up until 2008 this was a free $10. But $10 off $25 is still pretty good. I got the ginger souffle whipped body cream and it's wonderful.

  3. Step 3

VICTORIA'S SECRET. $10. Victoria's Secret gives freebies throughout the year. Usually it's a free panty. For your birthday you get $10 to spend on whatever you want!

  4. Step 4

BANANA REPUBLIC. $15. This is awesome. However you need to keep your account active. That means you have to have made at least one purchase in the past year. (Gap gives you a 25% off anything coupon. Eh)

  5. Step 5

BEN AND JERRY'S, Coldstone Creamery, and Baskin Robbins all offer free ice cream. You need to join their "birthday club" just for that, however.

Tips & Warnings
  • For Aveda and Origins, you need only sign up for their mailing list (they don't have cards). For Victoria's Secret and Banana Republic, you need to have a card with them.
  • The great thing about this free stuff is that you don't have to do it all on the day of your birthday! These cards come in the mail shortly before your birthday month and you have all month to enjoy them!
  • Make it a habit to ask stores if there's a free birthday gift.
  • When you sign up, give a different name or misspell it purposely. That way you can identify if they sell your information.
  • If you know of or find anything good, come back and post it here in the comments!
