Get longer eyelashes, get thicker eyelashes - it's all the rage today in the world of cosmetics and beauty. But, how does one really get thicker, longer eyelashes? There are ways but they're not all cheap!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

~~Easiest way to get longer thicker eyelashes - buy em!~~

False eyelashes (and their adhesive) have come far from those wavy eyelashes in the 60's. Purchase a good set of eyelashes and adhesive from any local CVS or local drugstore. If you're not used to wearing false eyelashes, buy the eyelashes in a strip versus individual eyelashes - much easier to apply and take off!

  2. Step 2

    ~~Get a prescription for Latisse~~

If you're interested in a permanent solution to skimpy eyelashes, get a prescription for Latisse. The stuff really works. You just apply it to the top lid once a day and 4 weeks or so later, voila - eyelashes you'll love. Make sure you understand and are willing to accept the possible side effects of Latisse though.

  3. Step 3

~~Get eyelash extensions at your local spa~~

Eyelash extensions are individual lashes glued to your actual eyelashes. They'll remain in place until your natural lashes grow out and the fake eyelashes fall off. Up to $200 an application, you'll need some extra cash to keep your eyelashes thick and long with this method.

  4. Step 4

    ~~Buy an eyelash curler~~

This is, by far, the most economical of the solutions to having long eyelashes. Curling the lashes at the base will make them appear longer. Top with 2 coats of black mascara and you're out the door for under $15!

Tips & Warnings
  • Purchase a battery operated hot eyelash curler for the best curling device. You'll love your 'long' eyelashes.
  • Latisse is not for everyone. Make sure you talk to your doctor and understand the side effects before starting the product.
