Remember the days when all you wanted for Christmas was a puppy? Now that you're an adult, that popular wish has probably fallen by the wayside and been replaced by wishing you could snap your fingers and magically have a body makeover.

Fortunately, you *can*. Sure, it's not quite as easy as snapping your fingers, but it doesn't have to be hard, either. Read on to find out how.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Weight train. Every day, work a new muscle group so that you can work with weights daily without damaging your muscles. Body weight exercises may be even better both because you won't have to head to a gym and because you won't need any special equipment.

  2. Step 2

Once you've been weight training for several weeks, find cardio you love and do it every day for at least 45 minutes. Neither bowling nor golf count. Sorry. Instead, find something that gets your heart pumping like ballroom dancing or rock climbing or jogging and make sure it's something you genuinely enjoy. The benefits of exercise are increased when you like what you're doing if only because you'll do it longer.

  3. Step 3

Talk to a nutritionist. Food combining is really important when you're engaging on a complete body makeover, and the right combinations will depend on your eating preferences and your body's needs. Getting a customized plan will ensure the best results. It's always a good idea to talk with a nutritionist after you've been exercising for several weeks because then you can talk about your exercise routine as part of the consultation.

  4. Step 4

Stay motivated! With this program, you'll start noticing looser pants right away, but it's important that you stick with it for at least 3 months to really see a difference. So, make the commitment that this time you WILL have that body makeover you've been wishing for and you'll see the results you've been longing for.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always, always talk to your doctor before changing your diet or exercise routine.
