One of the worst sorts of pain you can feel is a cramping of your muscles, usually in your arms or legs. Growing up, I used to get these every once in awhile. There can be many reasons for this including poor circulation, not enough nutrients, etc. I wish I knew then what I know now about dealing with muscle cramps. Here’s how...

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Patience
  • Time
  1. Step 1

If you experience muscle cramps such as in your legs and feel your legs being folded (i.e., muscles pulling the two parts of your leg together), try not to exert any more force and just relax your body.

  2. Step 2

Using your hands, massage that muscles that are hurting. Again, make sure you do not exert any force on your leg. Just massage the leg apply deep pressure with your fingers.

  3. Step 3

Then using your hands, unfold your leg slowly until it is straight. Again, make sure you are not exerting any force on your legs. Otherwise, it could trigger another cramping effect. While these steps won’t prevent the initial occurrence of muscle cramps, they should help to alleviate the pain.
