Save Money Buying AMC Movie Tickets Online

Love going to the AMC Entertainment movie theater but hate standing in long lines to get your tickets? Learn how to purchase your tickets online without having to pay the $1 surcharge at AMC/Lowes theaters.

Step 1

No one likes waiting in line for movie tickets. Especially when you get there right before the show starts. Save yourself the time, buy your AMC theater tickets online! And if you're trying to see a blockbuster release, all the better, hurry up and get your movie tickets online before they're sold out!
Step 2

Fun, Cheap, Entertainment!

Now if you live near an AMC/Lowes theater, then this article is for you! Sign up online, or grab an application from the theater, for a Moviewatcher card.
Step 3

Register for your card and save $$

It'll take a few weeks for your Moviewatcher card to arrive in the mail. If you sign up online you can use it right away!
Step 4

Go to http://www.amcentertainment.com and type in your city. A list of AMC Entertainment and Loews movie theaters will show up. Click on the one you want to go to. Select the movie and the movie showtime you want and upon checkout make sure you put in your Moviewatcher card number to save the $1 surcharge for purchasing tickets online.
Step 5

Free popcorn, free Cinema tickets

Now whats even better about the card is that you also earn points for the movie tickets you buy, either online or in person at the theater. There is a limit of 2 tickets per day, earning you 4 points. You can earn free snacks & even free tickets!
Step 6

Make sure you bring the credit card you used to purchase your online tickets and your Moviewatcher card to the theater. And make sure you use your Moviewatcher card every now and then to keep it active.
Step 7

Now that you've got your tickets, go ahead and have the best movie experience! :)

on 11/13/2009 Thanks! Yeah you save the $1 surcharge, but then with the points you earn you get free tickets, and snacks. And really it only takes a few movie ticket purchases to earn a free movie. :)
