Things You'll Need:
- An email address
- A place where you write articles, blog, or a website
-
Step 1
First you will need to create an account with Linkshare. Go to linkshare or click the link in the resources section of this article. Linkshare is completely free to join.
-
Step 2
Set up a user name and password with Linkshare. You can use a normal user name instead of using UUE34IEnd87 (some weird code). Unlike Amazon, Linkshare will provide you with links that have the weird code automatically. Enter some personal information. You can skip the tax ID input for now.
-
Step 3
Go to "My Account" then "Marketing Channels". Click "New Channel". Name the website anything you want to help you remember where your sales are coming from. Copy, paste a URL of your blog, website, or the article listing from ehow, associated content, or other online media web site where you write articles. Make sure you are not logged in when you copy, paste the URL. Enter other stats about the site including number of hits per month and a decription that sells your work. Enter the demographic information. You can choose up to three categories for your online content.
-
Step 4
Go to the "Programs" tab, then "Categories". On the right side you will see advertiser search. Enter "wal-mart" and click "go". Next to status, click "apply". Read the terms and conditions. If you agree, check the "I have read and accept.." box then click "OK".
-
Step 5
Check your email in a few hours to see if you are accepted. As long as your articles, blog, website meet their requirements then you will be accepted as a Walmart publisher affiliate.
