Nope, you're getting a whiff of some veggies gone bad or a spilled jar of minced garlic.       Determine where the smell is coming from. If there is bad or outdated food in the refrigerator, throw it away. Make sure you check all the drawers so you don't miss anything. If you have large enough of a cooler handy, it's best to remove everything to inspect it and store it in the cooler until you're done.

      Wet the cloth in water, wring it out and sprinkle some baking soda onto it. Clean all surfaces in the refrigerator, reapplying baking soda as needed. Also wipe around the seal on the door.

      Return all food items to the refrigerator. Pour 1 cup of baking soda into a bowl and place it in your refrigerator toward the back and close the door.
