On a Kindle you can download magazines, newspapers, and books. -

iphone, ipod, Kindle all have reader capabilities.iphone and ipod app is only available in the United States right now, and can only download books.
You can read in bed, a couple paragraphs at a time.
The first few chapters are available before you decide to purchase.
To read on the ipod select landscape or portrait.
When you are reading a page and want to book mark where you are in the book, tap the top right corner and the page will fold like a book mark.
To save a note, tap a word or hold onto the word to make notes.
Pinch on ipod to zoom in.
Select different color backgrounds to help you read easier.
