Cheap wedding locations are hard to find - especially if you have a specific type of wedding location in mind. The wedding location plays a large part in your wedding, so although you want a cheap wedding location, you do not want to skimp. Using the steps below though, you can find cheap wedding locations in virtually any city around the world.

** Use a location not traditionally used as a wedding hall **

Be creative with your wedding venue in order to find cheap wedding locations. You may be able to use a large backyard or a school auditorium for your wedding instead of an actual wedding hall. These options can be a lot cheaper than a traditional wedding hall.

** Go a bit outside the city **

You may be able to find a cheap wedding location if you leave your city and travel a bit beyond. Weddings in surrounding smaller cities can be cheaper as they are less in demand. You may be able to rent a van or bus to drive wedding attendants to your farther out wedding location and still come out cheaper.

** Use a smaller room in the hall you want **

Some wedding halls have more than one hall, even if some rooms are not generally used for weddings. If you are stuck on a particular wedding hall, you may be able to get a cheaper location by going into one of the smaller rooms instead of the main hall.

** Find wedding locations that include more than just the hall **

You can also find cheap wedding locations by getting a hall that includes the catering, flowers, and/or other wedding expenses in one package. By getting all your wedding needs in one package, you usually come out cheaper.
