Pour the batter into the pan. Fill each of the liners until they are two thirds full. Bake as suggested on the label. Allow the cupcakes to cool.

    • 3

Arrange seven cupcakes in a circle on a plate or cake tray. Place six cupcakes around the outside of the circle and one in the center. Press the cupcakes together to remove any large gaps. Smear a thin layer of frosting over the top of the cupcakes to create a flat surface.

    • 4

Position four cupcakes on top of the bottom layer to create a second layer. Arrange them into a square at the center of the bottom circle. Smear a thin layer of frosting on the top of the second layer.

    • 5

Frost the final cupcake and place it on the center of the second layer. Decorate the cupcakes with sprinkles, sugar candies or additional frosting.
