Measure the length of the furniture. Make a note of the center of the furniture, and mark it on the wall with a pencil.

3
Measure the width of the mirror. Make a note of the center of the mirror and mark it by placing a piece of transparent tape on the front of the mirror and drawing a small line on it with a marker.
-
4
Line up the wall marks. Holding a yardstick vertically at the center measurement mark for the furniture, line it up with the measurement of where you decided to hang the mirror. Make a mark on the wall where these two measurements intersect.

5
Hang the picture hook. Place the picture hook that came in the picture hanging kit in the center of the mark you made in Step 3, and hammer it into the wall.

Hang the mirror. Gently place the mirror on the wall, not letting go until you know it is secure.

Tips & Warnings
Decide on a formal look. If the room in which you are hanging the picture is more formal, measure 60 inches from the floor and add to that the measurement of half the size of the mirror. This is where the mirror will hang on the wall.
Go with a casual look. For a more laid back room design, you can either eyeball the height at which you want to hang your mirror or measure six to eight inches above the top surface of the furniture.
Never hang a mirror without finding the studs. The mirror will come crashing down and could cause severe injuries, especially with the pieces of shattered glass.
