How to Cleanse Your Chi

Chi is the energy that flows within the body. When our Chi is blocked, health problems can arise as well as mood swings, excess stress and fatigue. It's important to know how to cleanse your Chi.

  1. How To Cleanse Your Chi

      Face south with your feet placed at shoulder width. Relax your gaze as you place your tongue on the roof of your mouth. This opens up the meridians and allows energy to flow naturally.

      Imagine your Chi as it flows from the center of your belly, up your back and past your shoulders. Allow your body to relax more and more starting from your head and moving down to your toes. When you are ready, bring the chi down the arms to the front of the hands.

      Straighten your arms and place your hands with your palms facing away from you. Slowly begin to raise the Chi stored there above your head. Maintain all of your focus on the palms of your hands. When you have raised your arms over your head, turn your hands over and slowly push the Chi down in front of your body until you hands reach chest level. Again, your full attention should be on the palms of your hands.

      Begin to slowly move your hands and the Chi down your right leg. Focus all of your attention and awareness on moving the Chi down the leg and out of the toes. Pull the Chi out of your toes as you bring your hands up slightly in order to release the dirty Chi. Do this for the other leg as well and repeat the entire process up to eight times for the best results.
