With age, plastic headlight lenses, which cover the headlight bulb, will get scratched and can oxidize and turn hazy. This makes your headlights shine less brightly on the road and it looks unpleasing with a nicely detailed vehicle. With a professional headlight cleaner, you can easily restore your plastic headlight lens and make them look new.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Standard drill with buffer attachment
  • Headlight lens cleaner
  • Microfiber towel
  1. Step 1

Put a quarter size drop of headlight lens cleaner on the buffer pad and attach the buffer attachment to your drill.

  2. Step 2

Place the buffer on the headlight lens and turn on the drill. Spend about 30 seconds to a minute buffing the cleaner thoroughly into the lens. Make sure not to miss any spots.

  3. Step 3

Wipe the cleaner off of the lens with a microfiber towel just as you would wipe wax off of a car. Your headlight lens will be free of scratches and discoloring.
