How to Find Out If Your Name is On Chex Systems?
Chex Systems is a consumer reporting agency. It provides account verification to financial institutions. The information helps financial institutions to identify high risk applicants for bank accounts. For example, consumer accounts that were overdrawn, charged off and closed by the bank would identify as high risk accounts. Banks usually report consumer accounts with a history of overdrafts. If your name is listed on Chex Systems, it could hinder you from opening a bank account.
